I am currently teaching fourth grade science and social studies and a STEM school. I try to incorporate all content areas into my classroom for my students to build a deeper understanding of the content. These books will provide my students with the historical understandings of the Civil War, the American Revolution and the French and Indian War as well as providing support for our reading content standards. These books will allow my students to read at their own pace and gain a deeper understanding of the content. I will be able to use these novels for years to come. By providing each student with a copy of the book, I am able to reduce screen time and bring love for learning into my classroom.
