My students need access to books, printed materials, and high quality texts! Please help me give my students the tools they need so that they can improve their literacy and their access to opportunities. If I can provide instruction that includes time for students to interact with text in their own hands, I believe that I can better support the growth of my students and help them improve their reading, while also allowing for them to engage with text in new ways. I don't have a classroom so I need to be mobile with my books. I do a lot of my "teaching" in the hallways by pulling students out of class for a quick fluency read or pushing into classrooms to help with small groups. Some of my students are still learning their letter-sounds, some are solving words like "cat", and some are ready to really start reading books! Thank you for considering to donate to my project--I'm hopeful that we can provide quality books to my students!
