Our school district shifted our print functions to a concept called centralized printing. This cut the support to our previously provided classroom printers as well as dramatically limited our accessibility to resources needed to print student materials. I have been paying out of pocket for the past 2 years for toner in order to give my students the opportunity to have hard copy materials to study. Having these resources are especially helpful to my students that struggle with online study materials and English Language Learners that need additional resources for success.
