Inside the classroom, flexible seating will allow the students to find what seating works best for their learning. Each student is so diverse and learns in a different way. Flexible seating will allow students to take charge of their learning and learn from a space that best fits their needs! Currently our classroom only has desks and chairs. Many of our students like to move around, whether this is walking around their table, laying on the rug, or standing and completing their work. Flexible seating will allow students to find that comfortable space that they need in order to learn in the classroom. The material choices I have chose for this project will allow the students to more effectively learn inside of the class as well as meeting their learning needs! The seats I have chose, allow a variety of movement inside of the classroom. The wobble seats are great for my students who need to move while they are at their desk. The bouncy ball seats are great for my students who need help with concentration. The floor cushions will help my students who like to be low to the ground with their clipboards while working! I truly think the addition of flexible seating inside my classroom will benefit each student with keeping in mind that it is benefiting each student in a different way that best adapts to their learning style and needs!
