As an English teacher, I want to bring to the classroom novels that I love because I know it's essential for my students to enjoy what they read to maximize their engagement, understanding, and success. For this reason, I'd like to allow my students to learn about other cultures around the world while growing their love for literature at the same time. A Thousand Splendid Suns have the potential to do just that: grow their love for literature, teach them about another culture, and inspire them to dig deeper in their literary analysis. I know that once they begin this book, they will not want to set it down! Please help me make this happen for them.
