I want to give my students a safe learning environment. I also want to use money that we have to fund things like Freckle. I ask to teach the EC students, as well as the EL students because I work hard to create an environment where students can learn.
I also have been working on interactive journals, I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of materials to support my students. Today, I spent 5 hours painting a book shelf in order to make my classroom more "fun." I want to be organized, I want time/efficiency to teach my students in a way that engages every student. Despite Covid-19 and learning deficiencies, I still feel like students were always engaged with my lessons because of the dynamic that I have created. There are studies to prove that colors have a direct impact on your mood. Students are also engaged because they feel they have a first hand experience with the creation of their lessons.
