I am the Guidance Counselor at an elementary school. I am moving into a larger room that will allow my students to come to me for guidance lessons, small groups sessions and individual meetings. Students learn better and open up when they are comfortable. It is also important for them to feel at ease while in my my room. I want to provide flexible seating for all of my students so they will be able to choose their best learning spot. My hope is to provide them with a warm, welcoming atmosphere where they can relax and be their self. It should be a safe place where they are able to sit, relax and share.
