As I mentioned before, I am a first-year teacher. I did have the opportunity to take over a 4th-grade ELA-S classroom for half a year. I was only used to teaching kindergarten and when I got the opportunity to teach fourth I fell in love with the grade. I made sure I met each of my students' needs. But I quickly realized that I did not have a lot of materials that I needed. Teaching and having visuals and materials played a big part in my students' learning. Having these materials in my classroom will give me the opportunity to have my students learn more efficiently.
