Having a small office is a struggle with two SLPs. Our current tables have a large footprint but are not functional. Kidney shaped tables would allow the SLP to sit in the center of the students whether it is a 1:1 session or a 1:3 group therapy session.
Kidney tables would allow students to have enough space to feel comfortable as well as give the therapist enough space to lead activities and lessons. We would also be better able to accommodate for appropriate social distancing between groups as each group could face opposite ways.
