I am a 3rd grade teacher in a Title 1 school in California. 79% of the students are low income and are part of the free or reduced lunch program. Most of my students come from Spanish speaking homes, and learned English during their elementary schooling. 3rd grade is such a transition year between elementary to intermediate level. I believe that my students will meet the challenges as they prepare for the writing demands of the upper grades. We just need your generous help to support our Memory Book project to inspire the students to write.
