I feel that students learn by doing. I chose crayons because I like for students to do coloring sheets that involve math. The anchor chart paper/Mr. Sketch markers are for colorful doodle notes that students can refer to each day. The pencils are needed because, why not, it’s math!
The hands-on materials are another way for students to obtain mastery with basic arithmetic. My job as a teacher is to make sure my students can have the best experience in the best learning environment, tailoring to everyone’s individual needs and interests.
