Third grade is an amazing year of growth! I am envisioning a classroom where students can stretch their minds through logic puzzles and games, as well as increase their social interaction and collaboration with peers. I have chosen a variety of card games, board games, and puzzles as well as activities that I believe can be used individually, in small groups, or as an entire class.
I want my students to let themselves feel challenged, and celebrate the successes of others, as well as their own! Playing these games, working together, and celebrating one another's achievements will help to build a positive classroom environment where ALL of my students feel success, belonging, and most importantly, have fun!
