Working in a small district, and due to limited resources in our community, we are lacking functional collaborative space in the individualized classroom setting. It is my goal, that by providing students with write and wipe tables, I will be able to rebuild and foster a new love for a culture of success, teamwork, and collaboration in my classroom. Currently, my classroom is filled with mismatched furniture, but I have been able to provide flexible seating for my little learners. The write and wipe tables, in conjunction with the flexible seating I currently utilize will aid in allowing students to take ownership of their learning space, work together with peers, and prepare them with foundational skills to use in the future of their education. I believe that Early Childhood Education is one of the most important parts of a child's life because it provides the foundational skills needed to turn them into critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. It is my hope, that by providing students with the tools in this project, that I will, with your help, allow them the chance to grow in creativity, collaboration, and a love for learning.
