Students learn best when they are comfortable! My classroom goal is to invite students in and make them feel like they are "home". Flexible seating allows students to be active and relaxed in order to focus and learn best. Having a non-traditional classroom like this makes students want to come to class because they enjoy the environment. It also delivers the message that I care about my students and want them to have fun while learning math! Having a great classroom environment allows me to build relationships with students right from the start!
