I teach in a Title I school, were there are no school buses because a majority of the students live within a close distance to the school. Because of this, a majority of my students walk to and from school even on those hot Texas days! Recently, the school installed water bottle refill stations, however most of my students are unable to get water bottles that they can bring to school every day.
This project will allow my students to have a source of hydration on their way to school and on their walk home especially on those extremely hot Texas days. My students will also be able to stay hydrated throughout the school day, limiting the amount of time they have to leave the classroom and increasing the amount of time they can spend learning!
