These snacks and juice will help all students to focus on learning, instead of focusing on being hungry. Many students come to school because we provide meals, but sometimes those meals aren't enough and they need more. I never say no to a student who is hungry. The food they get from me may be the only thing they get to eat all day.
No child should have to worry about when their next meal will be, or if they will have one. From elementary through high school, all students should have the opportunity to learn on a full stomach.
