At the beginning of the pandemic, children were moved out of the physical classroom to more restrictive spaces. Their homes and daycares became their learning spaces. As schools began to reopen, children had to relearn how to learn in a classroom. We noticed our students struggled with productively channeling their energy due to the increased time spent on iPads. We are looking to create a more sensory friendly environment to help our students with their focus in school. Kick bands, wobble stools, fidget toys, and sensory bands will help our students to focus while also having the ability to move.
