With the use of these new high interest books, my students will be excited to read! The students will have the opportunity to explore ancient mythology while improving their ability to read and comprehend text. Not only that, but I will also have the opportunity to sneak in more social studies into our busy days.
These books will enhance my students' ability to understand the culture and religion of Ancient Greece, while providing the students with an engaging text that will help them increase their vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
It is hard to put down a good Percy Jackson book! It only takes one good book to make life long readers! I hope that my students will fall in love with history and reading as they dive into the life of Percy Jackson!
