By providing my students with calculators it will provide students with a tool that they can use in their academic learning. Calculators are a math tool that can assist students and create a more interactive lesson that will help student in their study of mathematics. Due to COVID-19 many of these students loss the ability to have in person teaching which is vital in mathematics, so many lack a good number sense, which can make basic calculations stressful for them. By providing them with calculators it can take that pressure off of them when computing simple calculations and allow them to focus more on the mathematics they are currently learning.
