With COVID still a big deal, Standardized Testing and testing resources were all accessible on the students devices. It was hard for students to fully capitalize off computer based STAAR resources that contained sound, without headphones. Although it was a part of the school supply list, a high percentage of my families are low income, and headphones were not a priority. Alot of helpful reading resources talk to the students, read books to them, and ask them questions. The headphones will ensure all students are able to be a part of the interactive lessons on the devices.
