Wobble stools and bouncy balls will make a great addition to the alternative seating options of cushioned seats, banana chairs and bean bags that are already available in my classroom. I find that different students are drawn to different types of seating and worktops so variety is key.
When students have the freedom to choose their own space, they focus on and improve their learning. Students become more collaborative and are eager to prove they are responsible. They enjoy the rewards of choice over their environment and learn responsibility as a class to maintain a safe, productive, and fun atmosphere.
