The carpet in my project will serve as a center for collaboration for my 3rd grade students. As a teacher, my goal is to foster well-rounded students who can express their learning in multiple different modes, including through conversations with their peers.
My goal is to provide equitable opportunities for students with varying learning needs through differentiated instruction. One way this can happen is by providing my students a space where they are able to collaborate with their classmates and myself in meaningful and genuine ways.
I see the carpet as a space where critical and resilient thinking can thrive.
