Primary and secondary paints will open my student's eyes to the wonderful world of color. Through the use of tempera and watercolor paints, they will be able to express themselves through art. This will help them grow in all areas of their life including core subjects to social-emotional learning.
Arts experiences boost critical thinking, teaching students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world.
My students will learn color theory: complementary colors, warm vs cold colors that help them show emotions, monochromatic colors, and more. Part of the materials I will need include various types of art paper.
