This easel/ teacher cart will help students grow in many different ways. At my school we are not provided with a sturdy easel for students to grow their learning. This easel on wheels will help students with their learning during our small group work especially. This project will provide students an interactive way of learning that will keep them engaged and involved during our work.
This easel on wheels will also help students during our morning meeting, morning meeting is one of the most important times of our day and the easel is the center point during this time. When we walk to the carpet the first thing that students see is the welcoming morning message on the easel. This is the starting point for their day where they feel the warmth and sense of community. If this project gets funded this easel on wheels will get used for both their academic and social emotional needs.
This project will allow students to focus during the day and create an interactive way of learning. This will create an environment that creates the desire and drive to learn in both whole group and small group!
