My classroom is a place I want students to feel welcomed, loved, and grow together as a family each year. This project is being developed to build a classroom library with an inviting beach theme. The goal is to not only provide a welcoming place to read and relax, but instill a love of reading for students not only as 4th graders, but as lifelong learners as well. Fourth grade is a magical age, and such an amazing year to introduce new books that they will enjoy reading. Our classroom is full of amazing books that have been generously donated by neighbors from Nextdoor, we are just lacking the seating and environment to set it all up! I am so looking forward to welcoming this group of 4th graders to their new classroom in August and this classroom library would be an amazing way to start the year for us all.
