My students are coming back from being virtual for the past year and half. A new carpet will give us a safe spot for us to learn and bond as a new classroom community. It will also be a great place for students to work with partners, small groups, and to work independently. We will be able to start our morning community circle on this rug, share what is going on and fulfill my personal teaching target of building a stronger classroom community.
