These resources will allow students to work on their foundational skills in reading ex. letters, sounds, and blending. Students need a strong foundation in this skill in order to become automatic readers. I am hoping that with these hands-on activities, my students will be able to learn the skills they need to be successful in reading in a fun and engaging way. My students learn more and enjoy learning when they are having fun. If my students are engaged in these activities, they will learn more. I am planning to use these resources during small groups and centers.
