Flowers connect all of us. Whether it was the bouquet of roses and baby's breath you carried at your prom grand march, the hydrangea and peony elegantly draped at your wedding, or the simple carnation given to you on Valentine's Day, we all have a connection to flowers. At this project deepens that connection with my students.
The floriculture team and horticulture class will take advantage of this refrigerator for use as their floral cooler. Stocked full of flowers, these students will further their skills in the art and science of floral design. No matter if the student is in the horticulture class or part of the floriculture team, students will get the chance to look through the glass doors at the bright colored petals and turn cut flowers and greenery into beautiful arrangements. These skills will directly transfer over to a career in the floral industry, and we need your help to get us there.
