As a school counselor my job is to build relationships so that I can assist students with their social-emotional, academic, and career growth. I am very committed to my students in West Philadelphia that have experienced many traumas in their lives. I hope to use the tools in my classroom to foster trust and move students forward in their growth. Having a cozy place with opportunities to color and play games while we talk goes a long way in building relationships.
