With these stools, my students will be better able to engage in group activities such as labs and projects. The kinesthetic activity that these stools provide helps students with ADHD and other focus difficulties, which are common among my student population. Additionally, these stools are an integral part of my classroom's flexible seating plan allowing students the opportunity to choose for themselves the environment that is the most comfortable while learning and working.
After a year of both virtual and hybrid learning, students deserve the opportunity to collaborate and learn together comfortably. These stools will provide the opportunity for that engagement with their peers so many have missed due to COVID.
