Insects! It’s the theme of this years summer school. By having insect manipulatives, my little learners will have plenty of hands on experience with the insect population at large. The will be able to look at insects, without me having to catch a single one! My students will be able to see and learn about insects three body parts- head, throax and abdomen. Learn why spiders do not fall under the insect category. They will have an opportunity to put an insect together as they learn what they are made of. Please, help me give my students, hands-on-experiences, into the the world of the creepy crawlers- Insects!
