I am a first year teacher and I am passionate about literacy! My dream is to have an inclusive classroom library that draws students in with books that they are excited to read. I believe that children will gravitate towards books that they can relate to and I have carefully selected a variety of books that represent all kinds of students. These books will also be used in creating meaningful literature circles, where students can learn, explore, and ask questions about real world problems in a safe, small group, environment!

About my class
