All students need access to high-quality texts and reading instruction. Using this teacher favorite to build a life of reading. Starting off our school year with the Stone Fox text with help me set the mood and move hearts. Through sharing our read aloud of Stone Fox together, students receive a model of involvement with printed material. Our daily mini lessons will be tied back to engaging with the plot, characters, word choice in Stone Fox. Reading aloud to children builds and supports their listening and speaking abilities and enhances their overall language development.
