I plan on using the flexible seating in my classroom with my round tables. I want to allow students the choice of where to sit and what to sit on. The flexible seating will help my students feel comfortable and focused in their learning environment. I currently have five round tables and only have chairs and standard four legged stools.
I believe the flexible seating will support my students' needs and provide the best learning environment for them. Nearly all the students that attend my school come from low-income households where their needs may not be met when they get home. By providing them with flexible seating I hope to help create an environment in which they can learn in whichever setting they wish.
