I am requesting an easel, a literature organizer and rolling storage cart which we will use in the school classroom. These supplies will be used to help provide much needed classroom materials. These materials are staples in a classroom. The easel will be used daily to help model new content, it is optimal for young students to see written language. The easel will be used during math and phonics lessons to model writing and help model segmenting phonemes. During math lessons, I will use the easel to model math concepts, I will also use this to allow students to come up and show their learning. The storage will be used to help me stay organized while providing my students with the best learning experience I can. I am a new teacher coming into a new classroom. This class has no materials. The requested materials are going to be greatly beneficial to me and my students as a new first grade teacher.
