Reading is a crucial skill that all individuals need in their daily lives. Students in first grade are learning how to read and developing into fluent readers. A full classroom library with books that are on their level which they enjoy will help to build my students' fluency, their reading endurance, and their vocabulary as well. My project involves me building a welcoming and leveled classroom library that my students can use daily to read and to grow as readers. With the help of my classroom library, I hope to foster a love for reading in all of my students.

About my class
