These resources will jump-start the school year helping my students have access to resources that will allow them to be successful after a year of virtual learning. The resources that I am requesting will provide my students with the ability to have normalcy back in the classroom as they prepare to be back to face-to-face learning. As we know, due to the pandemic, students have lost time and skills pertaining to mathematical concepts. These physical manipulatives (dry erase resources, pencils, etc.) and the ability to show work, even if they do not have paper, allows them to make connections to the material, hopefully driving their success.
