With the days growing hotter, my students' appetites are growing larger! I have 18 students in my summer school class. Our school day for summer school is from 7:50 am until 3:00 pm. They have breakfast and lunch provided for them each day but they are supposed to bring their own snack. We eat lunch at 11:25 am and my students are ravenous by 2:00 pm. Only about 5% of my students bring their own snacks for snack time. I have been buying and supplying my students with snacks each day and they are eating them faster than a popsicle melting in the sun. The snacks that I have chosen will hopefully last me the rest of the summer school session.
