Students will be excited to use their Rekenrek manipulatives that will be in their own manipulative bin to use throughout our math class. The hands-on material will be helpful with their own problem solving skills while creating more confident learners! The ten frames will also be used to help with students' number sense and problem solving to create addition and subtraction problems. They will not only be used in math lessons, but also math centers.
Any manipulative tools that create a more hands-on opportunity in the classroom will benefit student development and a love for math.
