I have always had wiggly kids. I had not thought much about it until I met a very special student last year. I borrowed a wobble stool from the teacher next door, and the change in student behavior and academics inspired me to make a change in my classroom. I decided to make a change so that all students could decide what kind of seating works best for them, so they could empower themselves to get the most out of their education.
I have been working all summer to acquire all of the materials that I will need to create a classroom and an environment where all students can have a choice as to what environment and type of seating will help them learn at their best. I have got almost everything that I need aside from wobble stools and regular stools. I would love to be able to supply these items for my students because wiggly kids do very well with wobble stools. These stools allow students to wiggle in a way that can help them to stay focused on the material being presented without being a distraction to themselves or others.
The benefits of flexible seating are endless. I know that my students will create, learn, and grow far above expectations if they are given all of the tools to succeed. I have come very far, but I need your support to make this flexible seating a reality for my students! Thank you for your time and consideration.
