I teach both math and science in a program known as the Cambridge program. We've begun implementing this program at our title one school in hopes to encourage the students to become more engaged in their learning and have more accountability for what they are learning. Having the stools will allow for more students to work at different tables with one another and explore what has been taught or introduced. It will allow more ease for them to work collaboratively and continue to build on their social and emotional skills, which is so crucial at this age, while engaging in new and exciting curriculum.
