In our classroom, the students are thrilled to be face-to-face again, instead of virtual, as they have been for the previous year and a half to two years. My students thrive while sitting as a group on the floor in front of our whiteboard/smart board. The problem with our current situation is students do not have comfortable seating options while on the floor. We are together on the floor 75% of the day. Students are leaving school dirty and sore. If we were to have multiple seating options, students would not only learn more, but be completely comfortable!
