This carpet will serve as a center of gathering and learning in our classroom. Since we were robbed of carpet time last year, it will be celebrated as a return to normalcy this year!
Gathering at the carpet is great for setting the tone for the day during morning meetings. It's also used as a place for mindfulness breaks, having discussions, and a comfy rest area for silent reading.
The carpet will visually be the center of our room, and the gray color will match the Star Wars theme in my classroom!
