I am an Elementary School teacher with an SPED degree moving to High School to finally get to use that degree. This means I have little to no high school resources or materials.
The classroom I am in was used as an art room, so it has a hard, tile floor. This will be especially hard on my and my students' backs and feet. The rug I am requesting should help ease that problem.
While I do have some math manipulatives from teaching kindergarten and 1st grade, there are some that I will need in high school that I did not need in the lower grades. I have asked for these specifically because my students will be learning at a much slower pace than general education students and will need to have the hands on experience things like algebra tiles will give them to understand the mathematical concepts they will be learning.
I am excited for this new chapter of my teaching career and would love the help you can provide me in getting my classroom ready for ups and downs along the way.
