My young students need to learn how to find books in a library, and how to take care of them once they have them. My Book Hospital demonstration is one way I show the kids what goes into repairing books that have not been taken care of; by donating to this project you are helping me show them why it is so important to respect library books. Many of the books we have were donated, which means they quickly start to show signs of wear; these supplies (tape, labels) will help me help them keep the books nicer for longer so that more students get to enjoy them.
