Students in today's classrooms need exciting, interactive ways to learn to keep them engaged and interested. While we do still use books, pencils, and paper, sometimes our students can experience even greater benefits from good use of hands-on technology in the classroom - especially in agriculture.
I would like to add an Apple TV device to our classroom technology so that our class can connect to any of the computers or tablets in our room to share our projects and ideas and interact in even more ways.
In agriculture, most people think of farming, tractors, and cows. While agriculture does include those things, it is so much more than that. Ag classes give students real-world knowledge about countless subject areas - all the way from math to business to animal science to cooking to floral design to wildlife management. With such an abundance of knowledge out there, I want to give my students the best chance of understanding the concepts presented to them in class, and in a way that will allow them to interact with what they're learning. An Apple TV can make this possible!
