My students have never had a normal, full day of school. The pandemic happened during their kindergarten year and last year they had to be physically distanced from one another, not share anything or play games, and also quarantined. By providing a rug, we can all celebrate the fact that we can be together as a family in our classroom. I want my students to feel welcome and togetherness as soon as they walk in my door. I believe a classroom rug is essential to learning. It's a special place where they can come together and learn, play games, hear stories, etc. Help me bring this at-home, comfortable feeling to my students.

About my class
