Climate Justice Starts with Fresh Air
My project includes the following goals:
1. Students become more in touch with nature, including knowledge of plants and nature hikes.
2. Learn skills such as plant propagation and planting.
3. Build a 'living wall' in the classroom creating fresh air and beauty, which usually do not exist in public high schools. (Done with Macrame)
4. Create ceramic pots, which will be used for planting once propagated plants are large enough. These plants will be brought home or to be given as gifts to family and community members.
5. The process will repeat for continual growth creating plants for the community.
