Wobble chairs are helpful for various students needs. Children with autism, or ADHD, often feel the need to wiggle and move around while learning. Wobble chairs give these particular students the ability to move around while staying in seated during instruction time. This can also apply to students who learn kinesthetically. Having a calendar would benefit my students because we discuss days of the week, the months, and the total count for school days. The print on this calendar is also big, which makes it easier for six and seven year olds to read. Calendars are used every day in first grade, so this would be a great tool in my classroom. In first grade, students benefit from having name tags on their desks with number lines, hundred charts, ABC's, etc. However, six and seven year olds have a tendency to pick at the name tags, and eventually ruin them. Having a name tag protective pouch helps students long term because the name tags remain clean, and the information provided remains legible.
