Using the Cricut Maker, students will be able to create their own designs (or use pre-made ones) which they can display in a number of ways. They will be able to make things like t-shirts, mugs, tote bags, help teachers with bulletin boards, make posters for school events, create canvases for hanging and so much more!
This will be used in a "club" typesetting, so all of the students in our small (300ish students), 7-12 high school will have the opportunity to benefit from the use of it if they wish. This can be a great opportunity for them to "de-stress" as crafting has been shown to be really helpful for mental health. It can also teach them skills that they will be able to use in an entrepreneurial setting if they decide they would like to create their own business someday.
